This pump delivers 18% more flow as compared to the standard volume 10295 oil pump. The design changes incorporated into 10295 have been carried over to this pump. The 10296 pump was engineered specifically for performance LS applications that demand increased oil flow. It can be used in any GM Gen III application with no modifications required to install the pump.

We do not recommend this pump for small-capacity sumps, such as those found in VT-VZ LS Commodores. This pump can push too much oil into the top end, starving the engine due to insufficient sump capacity.

We only recommend using this pump with a large-capacity sumps. At a minimum, the VE-VF sump with an 8L capacity is required. If you are installing this pump in a VT-VZ Commodore, we strongly recommend using the stock GM oil pump or fitting an ASR 8Ltr  large-capacity sump.

**Ignoring this warning will result in engine Failure.**
